New Fabrics for Spring

It's always exciting when new fabric collections arrive. I love looking through the sample books especially when the fabric company also supports their product launch with beautiful photos of their designs in real room situations.

This means we don't have to struggle to imagine what a small sample might look like - we can see it all made up into beautiful curtains, cushions and upholstery.

Here are some inspirational images of three new fabric collections that you can now view in our Yateley showroom.

Genevieve is a collection of six charming designs in five pretty colour ways. Printed on 100% cotton these nostalgic patterns have been carefully produced using techniques which create a vintage, shabby chic look in shades of Chambray, Mineral, Mulberry and Old Rose.

Fairmonta classic dual purpose collection comprises 5 classic colour groups; Charcoal, Denim, Duck Egg, Raspberry & Taupe. Some fabrics are woven on a very soft linen quality and some have have space dyed yarns which create unique shading effects within the pattern. I particularly like the intricate, exotic bird/floral toile which coordinate so well with the checks and stripes.

Ribble Valley - a delightful calming country style. Classical patterns in chalky shades of Duck Egg and Natural combine with more contemporary colours of Citrus, Heather and Raspberry. Embroidered linens are teamed with smart stripes, woollen checks, linen sheers and floral jacquards. This easy living collection will work effortlessly in all interior schemes, upstairs and down.

Susie Watson Curtains and Blinds

I love the pretty country charm of Susie Watson Designs. Her products are beautifully handmade, with a look that is both contemporary and classic and with a timeless quality that appeals to almost everyone.

As well as her popular pottery, giftware and accessories Susie Watson also designs 100% natural cotton and hand printed linen fabrics suitable for curtain, blinds and soft furnishings - and really cute trimmings.

So I was delighted when recently I become a stockist and am now able to offer my clients these beautiful fabrics and trimming. Here I'm showing you just a few examples of her fabrics made into curtains and blinds. To see the wider range of colours, and to feel the quality of the fabrics, we have the fabric sample books available to browse or borrow in our Yateley showroom.

Call or visit our showroom if you would like help creating this look in your own home.
